Doug is a co-owner of HCM Wealth Advisory Group and a member of the firm’s Leadership Team. He’s been in the business of providing financial guidance to his clients for 30 years, with an emphasis in estate and retirement planning. Doug is the original founder of Hanover Capital Management (which is now HCM Wealth Advisory Group), having started the company in 1992. Prior to that, Doug served as a Senior Vice President and Trust Officer in the banking industry, giving him a thorough knowledge of finances, investing, and customer service.
Doug has always been passionate about serving his community, and has taken on many leadership roles in service-focused organizations over the years. He formerly served as Chairman of the Board for the Hanover YMCA, President of the Hanover Rotary Club, and President of the Hanover Public School Board. He now sits on the Board of Directors for Homewood Retirement Centers. Doug is also a cofounder of Five Points Hanover, LLC.
Doug lives in Hanover, PA, with his wife, Rainie. Together, they have two children and four grandchildren, and enjoy traveling whenever the opportunity presents itself.
